Is the XPlay a Stand Alone System?
XPlay requires a PC (Windows/Linux) or a Raspberry Pi to run the games. You connect the sensors to your PC and attach it to your TV/Projector, plug the Gamer Pack into your PC, and you're ready to play. The Gamer Pack is avaliable with the Bundle. It is not a "stand-alone" console that plugs directly into the TV without a computer.

Screen Size Guide
This guide explains the display compatibility for the XPlay pistol. The system uses a built-in camera to track the 4 IR sensors, meaning the gun itself is not limited by a specific screen size.
However, because the IR sensors connect through USB cables, the maximum supported screen size is around 100 inches (diagonal).
For the best gameplay experience, we recommend using a screen between 33" and 55".
Most of the gameplay footage shown on our website was recorded using a 55" TV.
Keep in mind that larger screens allow you to stand farther away while playing.
The minimum distance represents how close the gun can track the screen, while the optimal distance indicates the recommended position for the player.

No. Our gun only works with Windows, Linux and Android OS. While it works perfectly on Steam Deck (in Desktop Mode), it is not compatible with PS5 or Xbox as these consoles do not support the external lightgun drivers required for our system.
